Get Setup Package

Download the iCarsoft_MSDIAG_PCClientKits.exe package from icarsoft.com or from your dealer.

Installation

Run the installer and follow the prompts by clicking Next until finished.

Connect to PC

Connect the scanner to your PC using a USB cable or a TF card reader. Your PC should detect a new removable drive.

Start the Application

Launch iCarsoft_MSDIAG_PCClientKits. It will auto-detect your scanner using the serial number.

Exception: Key in SN and UID

If you're using a new TF card, the app might not auto-detect SN and UID. Enter them manually as shown on the scanner screen.

Login / Registration

Ensure your PC is connected to the internet. Click Upgrade to access the upgrade center. First-time users must register using their email and UID from the scanner.

Exception: Application Self-Upgrade

If a new version is available, the app will prompt you to upgrade. Choose YES to download and install it automatically.

Start Upgrade

Click the Download button to begin the software upgrade.

To verify installed versions, go to the About section in the main menu.

Exception: Storage Space

If the TF card has limited space, the app may prompt you to remove LOG/RECORD files or old versions. Click YES when prompted to free up space.

How to Print a Report

For V10/V20

Save Data

Press RECORD to save diagnostic data (e.g. Module Info, Live Data, Fault Codes, etc.). Files are saved as .rex on the TF card and used for generating reports.

If the application isn't installed, refer back to the “How to Upgrade” section.

Launch Report Printer

Click Report Printer in the application to begin report generation.

Select Files

  • BMW_EN_TEST_0001: Data recorded using BMW software
  • OBD_EN_TEST_0001: Data recorded using OBD software

Select the desired .rex file to add it to the edit area.

  • CLEAR: Remove all data from the edit area
  • SAVE: Export data as a text file
  • PREVIEW: Open print preview
  • PRINT: Print the report
