Launch Day Success

Even the rain could not stop the start of something powerful. Volunteers from Masifunde, residents of Walmer, and international students from Nelson Mandela University came together for the first clean-up session.

Together, teams cleared rubbish, swept public areas and prepared community spaces for planting and upgrading. The energy was positive and the results were clear. Cleaner streets. Stronger unity. A shared vision for a safer Walmer.

And this is only the beginning. There are monthly clean-ups planned and the project will continue expanding across the neighbourhood.

A Fresh Start for Local Homes

After launch day, the Masifunde maintenance team returned to complete tasks delayed by the weather. One local household received a full exterior repaint, showing how small acts can make a big impact.

When we support one another, communities grow stronger. These improvements build dignity, unity and hope one home at a time.

The Gear Up For Change Donation Registry

Adendorff Machinery Mart is supporting Masifunde through a unique donation model designed to make a real difference. Tools and equipment are essential for this project and our partnership ensures access to quality machinery for long-term community upliftment.

How it Works

1. Browse the donation registry for the tools needed by the Masifunde team
2. Select an item you would like to support
3. Cover 50 percent of the item cost
4. Adendorff covers the other 50 percent
5. The item is marked as purchased once the full amount is reached
