Engine Variants:
FROM 2001-2004, IT FITS THE 1.6 L N40 ENGINE, AND FROM 2004-2011, IT FITS THE 1.6/2.0 L N45 ENGINE. THE COMPATIBLE ENGINE CODES ARE N40, N45, AND N45T (B16).

This comprehensive tool set is designed for setting and adjusting the timing on 1.6 BMW N40, N45, and N45T petrol engines. It's also used to align the Vanos units on the inlet and exhaust camshafts.
